For full review, please visit readersedyn (blogspot)Hmmm … I find myself completely and utterly annoyed with this book. So annoyed, in fact, that I find I have a deep seeded need to read the 3rd book in the series just to assure myself that Ms. Deveraux has not lost her dang mind. I mean how in the name of all that is holy do you break up your main characters in such a dreadful way and then try to place a different guy in Adam's place? Well not really in his place, but damn … kind of in his place. I feel betrayed. My emotions are on a roller coaster and I am now cursing the day I decided to read this trilogy.
..........
This story seemed like a bit of a farce. There was definite attraction between Linc and Darci, but knowing her deep love for Adam, the whole thing seemed wrong. Even when Linc propositions Darci, despite the lighthearted tone, I just couldn't get on board with it. Luckily, the entire story did not focus on the connection between Darci and Linc. Overall the story wasn't all that bad. Given the darkness introduced in the first book, I expected worse this time around but such was not the case. The first book lacked the smoldering intimate scenes, whereas the second included a scene with a random character that just didn't make a whole lot of sense. I mean, it made sense, but I just didn't really care about the interaction. The main parts of this story involve past wrongs done to souls long gone, but still tied to the earth. Rights must be wronged, relationships and familial ties must be understood, and the key player (linc's son) has to be found. But even beyond all of the revelations that will be unfolded lies an even deeper secret which involves Darci's power. She will be tested and unless she proves herself worthy, all could be lost despite the good she has done. In the end, even well intentioned people can stumble. With Darci's axis on tilt over the past several months, she is extremely vulnerable to weakness.
And after all of that, I probably haven't explained much to you. Let's say that some things in the story worked while others did not. That said, those who had read the first book prior would likely be more affected by the components that seemed off than someone just coming to the series. Darci remains true to her character in the face of much heartache and temptation, but I missed the fun-loving, care-free Darci of FOREVER. Her character has definitely evolved quite a lot from the last time we saw her. I only hope that she comes back to us in the final book. Linc added a bit of much needed charm to the seriousness of the story and brought a breath of roguish fun with him. Also interesting is the switch between chapters allowing Darci to share her feelings and then Linc to do the same. These shared thoughts provide a better sense of each character and their emotions throughout their journey together. Despite my complaints, I still enjoyed the book. I cannot say what role this book plays within the trilogy until I finish book three, but I am hopeful that it contains essential information that will better aid the reader in assimilating the final book.

Forever and Always Forever Trilogy Jude Deveraux 9780743477086 Books Reviews
A good reading with the meaning of love and some life with a supernatural girl who was just learning what she was gifted with
I liked this book it bring together the fist book Forever and continues the story in Foever and Alwsys !!! The characters are real and believable !! Good read !!!!
The mystic appeal in this book is interesting. It creates a different story approach when at times stories can become the same old thing. There is more mystery than in most of the books by Deveraux. Excellent character development adds to the entertainment of the book.
I do not care for books that require one to get the next in order to finish the story.
People who like romance, mystery and mystic stories will enjoy this read.
This is one of the worst books I have ever tried to read.
I have never read a book by Jude Deveraux where she used this style of writing in the first person.
So this book was not written by J. D.
This book was so rotten I could not finish reading it
I an almost ready to quit reading e-books an go back to paper books.
I have tried to read some ofJ.D. Older Books. I found they are not complete,
They just stop without the original ending .
I an not going to give this book any stars because it does not deserve any!!
When I read Forever... I was a bit disappointed because it moved so quickly and Jude didn't really develope the characters the way she usually does. Not to mention the ending that just kind of left you going "that's all?" Well if I had known that it was merely the begining of a very complex and involved series I might not have felt so deprived. In Forever and Always we meet Darci again. Now, a lot of readers didn't like her in the first book but I thought she was adorable. I loved how she was in her own little innocent universe, and so child-like. Well now, years later, she's not so childish anymore after of all the pain she has recently been through. Adam is missing, but I'm not even going to get into that..... Darci soon joins up with Linc to help him find his son who, like Adam, has vanished. The relationship between Darci and Linc is highly amusing and very erotic though completely platonic of course. Jude wrote the book in the first person with the chapters alternating back and forth between Darci's point of view and Linc's. I liked this because it made me feel like I understood them better, and also kept me laughing at the way each characters mind worked. Now much like Forever there are many supernatual things that occur and stuff that doesnt get explained, though I have hopes that all of it will tie together by the end of the series. Even though Darci is the heroine of the series the star of this book is Linc. I loved him, and I hope he's in the next books as well or maybe even his own book. The ending let's you know just how complex everything will get before the Forever Series will end, and leaves you eager for the next book. To make matters worse there is a preview for the third book in the back, which only serves to confuse you even more then you already were. I hope you enjoy!!
I wish she would finish the story so the character can have her husband back its been years and never found out the ending to it one of the books just seems to go off on a tangent and doesn't relate to the other books well the one with linc in it.
It's a very interesting novel... A lot of twist that makes a reader think and try to decipher how everything was connected. Who is Henry? That's the question still in my mind.
Very unusual ending. I guess I need to read the next book in the series.
